QMS NDT & NACE is a global NDT & NACE company with offices in South Australia, Western Australia and Virginia USA, providing a range of survey, inspection, and non-destructive testing services to the defence, mining, and manufacturing sectors.

QMS has an excellent opportunity for three suitably experienced NACE Level 2 Inspectors for our expanding team in Adelaide, South Australia, with potential FIFO and interstate work. Join us to work on exciting defence, mining, and local blast/paint projects as a leader in NACE (AMPP) inspections.

NACE Level 2 Inspectors:

  • Conduct NACE Level 2 inspections on coatings and corrosion for maritime, defence, mining, and blast/paint projects
  • Perform inspections, testing, and reporting to ensure compliance with standards
  • Write in-depth inspection reports with detailed analysis and recommendations
  • Understand and adhere to Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and work instructions
  • Collaborate on solutions and stay updated on NACE standards

Requirements:

  • NACE Level 2 Certification (CIP Level 2)
  • Experience in coatings inspection (maritime, defence, or mining preferred)
  • Strong ability to write detailed, in-depth reports
  • Proficiency in understanding and working with ITPs and work instructions
  • Knowledge of corrosion science and surface preparation
  • Detail-oriented and flexible for FIFO/interstate travel
  • Must be prepared to undertake a national police check and pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol testing
  • Current driver's licence
  • Current resume with at least 2 valid work references
