Service Manager | OSHC / OSHC | Ashfield Area, Sydney

The Quick Details:

We're working with an Outside School Hours Care (OSHC / OOSH) provider that's building something different. In an environment where the sector is changing fast (and where educators, families, and schools are calling for more purposeful practice), this team is choosing to grow in a way that's ethical, people first, and intentionally values led.

They're not driven by rigid systems. They're driven by impact. And they're looking for a Service Manager who is too.

Package:

• First year: $105 - $108K total package per year.
• Second year: $108 - $112K total package per year.

You'll lead the day-to-day operations of a OSHC service with the support of an engaged Area Manager and a well sized team (including a strong 2IC). Your focus?

• Creating a warm, inclusive, and high performing service culture.
• Coaching and mentoring educators.
• Partnering with families and school communities.
• Ensuring quality programming and child safety is always prioritised.
• Bringing your energy, ideas, and vision to life on the ground.

About You:

You might be:

• A seasoned Coordinator or Assistant Coordinator ready for a new chapter?
• A current leader who's feeling burnt out or undervalued in your current setting?
• Someone who's passionate about getting quality care right for kids, families, and educators.

You bring:

• Strong sector experience (ideally 2+ years leadership).
• Confidence to lead a team, manage compliance (with support and great processes already in place), and own your space.
• A values driven approach and integrity, empathy, and clarity.
• A desire to make a meaningful difference
• A qualification in Children's Services (ideal).

Child Safeguarding:

Looking for an individual that will understand, adhere to, and promote The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations (the Child Safe Standards). In your position, you will help to take action to promote child wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people. 

Child safeguarding methods for this position, include, but are not limited to: 

• Working With Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain.
• Thorough screening.
• Reference checks.
• A national criminal history check.
