My client is all about reliability, precision and performance.

As a Managed Services Provider, they partner with vendors, distributors, and other MSP's to deliver seamless technology solutions for clients.

With continued business growth, they're now looking for an experienced and customer-focused Systems Administrator/ Senior Support Engineer (Level 2/3) to join their team in Bella Vista, Sydney.


About the Role

You'll be part of a supportive, high-performing team responsible for delivering exceptional technical support and service outcomes to clients.

This role includes both remote operational & service desk support and on-site client visits.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing Level 2/3 operational and remote support across diverse client environments.
  • Troubleshooting incidents and fulfilling requests within defined SLAs.
  • Administering Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS workloads.
  • Troubleshooting Networking issues.
  • Managing new user setups, terminations, and hardware/software configurations.
  • Investigating recurring issues and identifying root causes to reduce incident volumes.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Participating in after-hours roster for maintenance and urgent CVE patching.

About You

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, has extremely good time management skills, communicates clearly, and brings a strong mix of technical depth and customer empathy.

You'll need:

  • Proven experience in an MSP or IT services environment (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DFS, and PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, and terminal services.
  • Strong knowledge of VMware / Hyper-V, Azure or AWS environments.
  • Experience with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and ITIL-based processes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and time management skills.
  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft, Azure, VMware, or ITIL are highly regarded.
  • Australian Citizenship is essential and the ability to undergo a Baseline Clearance
  • Immediate availability preferred.
