We are currently recruiting a casual Allocations Officer to join our team. This position plays vital role in supporting the organisation's staffing needs by efficiently coordinating the placement of suitable supplementary personnel into vacant shifts.

To be successful in this role, you will be available to work across both of our rostered shifts:

  • 0600–1430
  • 1415–2100

This role involves working independently both onsite and remotely.

To be considered for this role, you must be living in the Ballarat region.

Application Requirements

  • Upload a cover letter and resume
  • Be able to provide a minimum of 2 referees: 1 being your current direct manager and the other(s) an additional manager or supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Finding supplementary workforce to fill shift vacancies
  • Providing a high standard of administrative support
  • Accurate data entry into required software systems
  • Understanding of privacy and confidentiality principles
  • Participate in annual performance reviews
  • Commitment to ongoing mandatory education

  • Proficient in computer use with the ability to quickly learn new software systems
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Demonstrated person centred care and respectful approach to patients, visitors and staff
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential
  • Current Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
