Melbourne | Hybrid (2–3 days in office)
$135k–$150k + super + bonus

After building a successful product, the team is now expanding into a new area — a strategic greenfield initiative designed to unlock new revenue streams and offer customers a more complete solution. About the role
This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of a brand-new product from the ground up. You'll be responsible for the full product lifecycle — from shaping strategy through to hands-on delivery — working closely with experienced leaders across product, engineering, and the broader business. With high visibility and impact, this role calls for a product thinker who's confident owning initiatives independently and driving them forward in a fast-paced, evolving environment. It's a great opportunity for someone at the mid-senior level to make a significant impact.
Key responsibilities
- Work collaboratively to define the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery plan for a new product
- Work cross-functionally with design, engineering, and CX teams to deliver value quickly and iteratively
- Engage stakeholders across the business to align goals and communicate progress
- Create clear documentation including product strategies, proposals, and initiation briefs
- Drive commercial outcomes by identifying opportunities to scale and grow the product
- Make timely decisions, take accountability, and maintain momentum even in ambiguity
Key skills and experience
- Proven experience taking a digital product from 0 to 1, ideally in a high-growth or startup environment
- Strategic mindset with strong executional capability and a bias for action
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort writing strategic docs
- Highly self-driven and proactive, with a curious mindset and willingness to ask questions
- Confident working independently and making trade-offs without waiting for perfect clarity
- Collaborative and adaptable, able to build strong relationships across disciplines
- Bonus: experience in fintech or payments (not essential – domain expertise can be learned)
