This client is an established Western Australian organisation managing over $300 million in commercial and industrial property assets within a 51-hectare precinct. It has a proud Western Australian business history dating back to 1897.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Management Accountant provides high-level analytical, financial, and management reporting to support business performance and compliance. The role is responsible for accurate and timely preparation of management accounts, budget and forecast coordination, capital project analysis, and continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Preparation of monthly P&L, balance sheet and cashflow reporting with variance analysis.
  • Coordination of annual and outgoings budgets with business unit managers.
  • Development of financial models for project, lease, and capital investment analysis.
  • Asset register management, depreciation and valuation adjustments.
  • Support for audits, statutory compliance and tax reporting obligations (AASB, GST, FBT, BAS).
  • Enhancement of ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC), Prophix and Power BI reporting tools.
  • Support ongoing continuous improvement in financial operations and business performance monitoring.

The ideal candidate will be CPA or CA qualified with 5–7 years' experience in management accounting, ideally within property, infrastructure, or capital-intensive sectors. Advanced Excel capability, strong commercial acumen and an eye for accuracy are essential, along with the ability to communicate insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
