As a General Trade Assistant based in Malaga, you will assist to deliver manufacture of sub-assembly and final assembled systems for Vekta's state of the art products.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Thursday 6:00am to 2:30pm and Friday 6:00am to 12:30pm with overtime as required.

About you:

  • Enjoy working with your hands and power tools? We are open to experience of all levels
  • Worked previously in the manufacturing industry? It's a bonus
  • Studied your dream job? A qualification in mechanical fitting or similar ticks the box
  • Attention to detail? Organise planning and building sub-assemblies to design

Your work includes:

  • Assist to assemble and fit machined parts.

  • Prepare materials for fabrication and/or machining.

  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings

  • Cutting materials to length using machine saws

  • Assist to pack finished goods into containers and/or on a truck as required.

  • Collect parts and or assist with deliveries / materials management.

  • Clean and lubricate assembled parts.

Essential Skills

  • Use of hand and power tools.
  • Working to schedule deadlines.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Forklift License is essential.
