Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Project Engineer or Project Engineer with a strong background in concrete and structural works. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of post-graduate experience, including design development and site-based delivery. Experience in utilities is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the design development process in collaboration with designers and stakeholders.
  • Oversee concrete and structural packages to ensure quality, compliance, and program alignment.
  • Interface with internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to drive construction progress.
  • Review technical documentation, construction drawings, and specifications.
  • Monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Support project delivery through procurement, scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting.
  • Manage and resolve site-based engineering issues in a proactive and timely manner.
  • Participate in inspections, risk assessments, and ensure HSEQ obligations are met.
Key Requirements:
Essential:
  • Minimum 6 years post-graduate experience in a similar engineering role.
  • Proven experience delivering concrete and structural packages.
  • Experience in managing design development.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors.
Desirable:
  • Exposure to or experience working on utilities infrastructure.
  • Relevant engineering degree (Civil/Structural or equivalent).
  • Proficiency with project tools (e.g., MS Project, Aconex, Bluebeam, etc.).
  • Sound understanding of construction methodologies and safety compliance.
