About the role
This is a full-time position with duties including but not limited to:
- Assisting in the preparation of Financial Statements, Tax Returns, Activity Statements, Payroll Tax Returns, ASIC Compliance and client communication for all entity types giving you exposure to a wide range of clients
- Liaise with the ATO and ASIC
- Be provided with CA/CPA support including mentoring and study leave days
- Work in new offices, 200 metres from public transport
As such this role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications and experience:
- 2-4 years business services experience with an Australian accounting firm
- Degree qualified and CA or CPA qualifications commenced or completed
- Experience in Personal Income Tax Returns, Business Activity Statements, Payroll Tax Returns and ASIC Compliance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to communicate with clients is paramount
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Resourceful and self-motivated with a strong client focus
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have had exposure to Xero
