About the role

This is a full-time position with duties including but not limited to:

  • Assisting in the preparation of Financial Statements, Tax Returns, Activity Statements, Payroll Tax Returns, ASIC Compliance and client communication for all entity types giving you exposure to a wide range of clients
  • Liaise with the ATO and ASIC
  • Be provided with CA/CPA support including mentoring and study leave days
  • Work in new offices, 200 metres from public transport

As such this role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications and experience:

  • 2-4 years business services experience with an Australian accounting firm
  • Degree qualified and CA or CPA qualifications commenced or completed
  • Experience in Personal Income Tax Returns, Business Activity Statements, Payroll Tax Returns and ASIC Compliance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  The ability to communicate with clients is paramount
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Resourceful and self-motivated with a strong client focus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must have had exposure to Xero
