Advisor Recover at Work - Talent Pool

Clerk Grade: 7/8
Salary range: $113,574 - $125,720 + super

Location: Sydney, Parramatta, Gosford with Hybrid and Flexible working arrangements 

 About the Role 

 Reporting to the Senior Advisor, Recover at Work, you'll deliver best-practice case management to support early and durable recovery at work outcomes. You'll work within the framework of NSW workers compensation legislation and DCS's Recover at Work program, focusing on: 

  •  Early intervention strategies 
  •  Occupational rehabilitation 
  •  Stakeholder engagement 
  •  Tailored recovery at work plans 

 You'll build strong relationships across the organisation to implement effective strategies that reduce costs and premiums, all while maintaining a customer-centric and wellbeing-focused approach. 

 What You'll Be Doing 

 No two days are the same, but your responsibilities will include: 

  •  Delivering recovery at work services aligned with NSW legislation, SIRA, iCare, and DCS policies 
  •  Providing high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders 
  •  Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals 
  •  Offering peer support and expert advice across People & Culture and Work Health & Safety teams 
  •  Influencing key stakeholders (insurers, employers, health professionals) to drive optimal recovery outcomes 
  •  Participating in preventative health and wellbeing projects 

 What We're Looking For 

  •  We welcome applicants from all backgrounds who bring: 
  •  Demonstrated experience delivering compassionate and supportive injury management and occupational rehabilitation 
  •  Strong knowledge of NSW workers compensation legislation and SIRA guidelines 
  •  Experience managing diverse caseloads (physical, psychological, and non-work-related) 
  •  Proven ability to partner with stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes 
  •  Autonomy and adaptability in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments 
  •  Excellent communication and record-keeping skills 
  •  A proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and ownership of outcomes 
  •  Relevant tertiary qualifications in fields such as: Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology, Nursing or Human Resources (with a focus on WHS or injury management) OR 
  •  Training or certification in Return-to-Work Coordination, which may include accredited courses aligned with SIRA guidelines.
