As a result, they currently have a great opportunity for a dynamic, forward-thinking Recover at Work Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis.

**About the role**
As a Recover at Work Business Partner you will be responsible for providing support, guidance and coaching across injury management and rehabilitation for workers' compensation (WC), wage insurance (WI) and income protection (IP) claims. The primary focus of the role will be establishing and maintaining effective RTW rates, and reducing claims costs.

**Responsibilities**
- Support and coach site RTWCs in early intervention claims management, troubleshooting, and providing advice.
- Assist RTWCs in initial medical practitioner case conferences and subsequent meetings as needed.
- Manage non-work-related injuries/illnesses, determining support strategies in consultation with internal personnel.
- Participate in scheduled site and insurer claim reviews, offering RTW/IM strategies for current IP and WC claims.
- Review IM/RTW expenditure, identifying and implementing cost mitigation strategies.
- Engage with rehabilitation preferred providers, including health practitioners and rehabilitation consultants.
- Monitor SHE Assure incident notifications for early intervention opportunities.
- Support HR Managers in the fitness-for-duty process, handling legacy claims, stagnant claims, non-work-related injuries, and medical-question absences.
- Liaise with legal representatives and medical practitioners to protect the Company’s interests.
- Conduct site claim reviews, generate updated reports, chair meetings, and document outcomes. Additionally, ensure the effectiveness of injury management systems and platforms, provide training and support, and maintain compliance through audits and continuous improvement in resources and RTWC training.

**About you**
To see you successful in this role it is imperative you have WHS and RTW specific qualifications and demonstrated experience in an Injury Management, Return to Work role. You will need detailed knowledge and understanding of WHS and workers compensation legislation and industry best practice, and to hold a tertiary qualification in allied health or related field.

You will be an excellent communicator and able to build rapport quickly, have the demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently and provide leadership across Health, Safety and Injury Management.
