**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a **Manager - Recover at Work Unit**to be part of our Recover at Work, Health, Safety & Wellbeing Command. The role provides leadership and strategic direction for the NSWPF’s workplace injury management through the development and implementation of projects, policies and procedures to ensure optimal recover at work outcomes are achieved, statutory obligations are met, service provision is of a high standard and that organisational needs are effectively met.

Join the NSW Police Force in a pivotal role that is both rewarding, challenging and multi-faceted As a leader in recovery and return to work, you will drive strategic direction and oversee the development and implementation of projects, policies, and procedures to optimise outcomes for NSWPF employees. Your expertise will be crucial in meeting statutory obligations, maintaining high standards of service provision, and addressing organisational needs effectively. You will lead and manage a dynamic, enthusiastic, and driven team of Recover at Work Specialists and Advisors who are responsible for workplace injury management initiatives. Additionally, you will provide strategic advice to Commanders and Directors on best practices and emerging trends in recovery at work and build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximise our recovery and return to work objectives.
