Customer Service Officer

About the role:
As a Customer Service Officer in our Head Office, you will be at the frontline of inbound phone calls from customers all over the state. You will be responsible for handling a variety of customer enquiries, directing them to the appropriate teams all while delivering a high standard of professionalism and outstanding customer service.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced call centre environment
- Answering and responding to incoming calls, ensuring a timely response to customers
- Resolving customer queries in line with operational requirements
- Monitoring communication with the Despatch team, including phone, radio and email
- Liaising with QPS, TMR and insurance/roadside companies efficiently
- Providing general administrative support to the office environment
About You:
To be a successful applicant for this role you must be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in a customer service-based role (call centre highly regarded)
- Possess outstanding communication, both verbally and written
- A positive and energetic approach to your work
- Intermediate computer knowledge
- The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Possess efficient time management skills
- A desire to learn and take on feedback
- The ability to work a rotating roster, including some weekend work
