The opportunity:

As a Secondary Systems Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects. As part of our multi-disciplinary design team, your responsibilites will encompass a wide range of tasks and ultimately contribute to the successful delivery of Powerlink's major projects design group. Some of your responsibilities include:

• Providing Technical Leadership
• Process Implementation
• Supporting and managing external design work
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Fostering Innovation and collaborative environment
• Delivery of design work incorporating Circuitry, Protection and Control

As part of our Design Solutions group, you'll join a team of professionals dedicated to the delivering excellence in Major Projects Design based between our Virginia and Bowen Hills locations. What you'll bring:

• A Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong foundation in protection and secondary systems design for HV and EHV transmission networks
• Experience with fault analysis, relay settings, protection relay software, and secondary systems circuitry
• Ability to produce detailed designs, documentation, and staged design deliverables aligned with complex commissioning plans
• Proven skills managing design delivery using both internal teams and external consultants
• Effective communicator with proficiency in technical writing and using office and document management software
