The opportunity:

As a Senior Secondary Systems Engineer, as part of a multi-disciplinary design team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks and ultimately contribute to the successful delivery of Powerlink's design major projects group.

Some of the main responsibilities include:

• Providing Technical Leadership
• Coaching and mentoring to design staff
• Process Implementation
• Supporting and managing external design work
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Fostering Innovation and collaborative environment
• Delivery of design work incorporating Circuitry, Protection and Control

As part of our Design Solutions group, you'll join a team of professionals dedicated to the delivering excellence in Major Projects Design based between our Virginia and Bowen Hills locations. Our team is comprised of passionate individuals who thrive on challenges, collaboration, innovation, and on doing the best for Powerlink and Queenslanders. What you'll bring:

• A Degree in Electrical Engineering and RPEQ registration in a relevant field
• Significant technical leadership experience in Secondary Systems design
• Proven ability to manage design resources, budgets, timeframes and quality outcomes
• Strong knowledge of Australian and International Standards, legislation and regulations
• Demonstrated problem-solving capability and a drive to innovate beyond current standards
