The Role:
Are you a creative, organised and enthusiastic individual with a flair for marketing and a love for genre fiction? We're seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic HQ Books team based in Sydney's CBD. This full-time role offers the chance to make a real impact in our team by supporting our marketing efforts, driving social media strategies, and helping build our DTC channels. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, you'll be an integral part of a passionate team.

Key Responsibilities:
Here's a snapshot of what you'll be doing:

  • Campaign Management & Support

    • Track campaign results, manage promotional copies distribution, and collaborate on creative execution.

    • Organise logistics for author tours and maintain marketing documentation.

    • Coordinate newsletters and online engagement projects for various databases using tools like MailChimp.

  • Social Media Support

    • Assist with growing our HQ Books presence across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.

    • Develop content schedules, manage influencer relationships, and take charge of TikTok initiatives.

  • Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Business

    • Support our Digital Marketing Manager in managing platforms and

    • Assist with content creation for websites and social media channels.

  • Marketing & PR Administrative Support

    • Handle team administration tasks such as critical path dates, managing mailouts, requesting promotional stock and circulating author event schedules.

    • Assist with setting up author events, ad hoc PR requests, release day campaign emails and publicity materials.

What We're Looking For:
To shine in this role, you'll bring the following skills and experience:

  • A background in digital marketing, communications, or PR (degree required).

  • Proven experience in digital marketing and social media engagement.

  • Creative content creation skills and a strong eye for detail.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and CRM systems.

  • A passion for books, especially romance and genre fiction, and an enthusiasm for TikTok trends.
