About the role

At BiBiS Italian', we are seeking a talented and experienced Chef and Cook to join our passionate culinary team. As a full-time Chef and Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of delicious Italian dishes in our restaurant located in the beautiful suburb of Paradise Point, Queensland.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and cooking a range of authentic Italian meals, including pasta, pizza, and other traditional dishes
  2. Ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation and taste
  3. Working closely with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient operation
  4. Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
  5. Assisting with menu development and contributing ideas to enhance the dining experience
  6. Providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive work environment

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef or Cook, with a strong background in Italian cuisine
  2. Formal culinary training or a recognised cooking qualification
  3. Excellent knife skills and experience working with a variety of kitchen equipment
  4. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure
  5. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality food
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  7. A passion for creating delicious, authentic Italian dishes
