Field Service Coordinator

Diesel and Dirt is currently looking for a new Field Service Coordinator to assist in day to day operations at their office located in Perth.

Working primarily from our Perth office with ad hoc travel to site to meet with field personnel, senior management and key stakeholders.

Your responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Managing field service personnel including ensuring jobs have appropriate parts and labour, ensuring workers have required inductions, medicals, work licenses, and site access.

  • Managing teams This includes building relationships and ensuring workers are carrying out their duties in a manner that is in line with company values.

  • Preparing estimates for clients and ensuring invoices are correct and completed on time.

  • Monitoring mobilisation of offsite work to ensure labour hire and field service crews comply with client rules and act in accordance with both client and in-house expectations

  • Working with the Health, Safety Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) Consultant to provide resources and support as required

  • Working with the leadership team to promote and further the interests of the business which includes identifying new customers and new areas for work

  • Always presenting the business with pride and offer the ability to resolve complications and problems faced by our clients.

To succeed in this role we are looking for people who meet the following Criteria:

  • Relevant Trade Background - Cert 3 in a mining related discipline

  • Customer focused and accountable

  • Team player with enthusiastic and proactive work nature who will bring a positive attitude

  • Goal orientated with the ability to solve potentially complex problems as required

  • Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills who is a keen learner interested in furthering their knowledge of the inner workings of a MEM Contracting Business

  • Practical thinker with good reasoning ability
