You'll earn the same pay rates and conditions as being employed directly with a company, but have the security of having a dedicated team supporting you. At 1300apprentice "We've got your back"

Some of What you'll learn:

  • Garden and landscape design.
  • How to effectively lay Paving
  • Building retaining walls.
  • Plant and soil improvements for garden and turf areas
  • Drainage planning and installation
  • Plant and soil practices, including implementing plant establishment programs
  • Project costing further into the apprenticeship.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine interest in building a career in Horticulture
  • Committed to completing a 2-year traineeship
  • Is physically fit and ready to work hard outdoors
  • Has a driver's licence and own transport
  • Has a White Card (or willing to obtain one)
  • Is well presented with a strong work ethic
  • Takes pride in their work and is eager to learn
  • Follows directions and works well in a team
