About the role

This is a full-time position for a 1st Year Apprentice Hairdresser at 'The salon on the Boulevard' in City Beach, Western Australia. You will be joining a dynamic and experienced team, where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your hairstyling skills under the guidance of seasoned professionals. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the hair and beauty industry and eager to embark on a rewarding career in hairdressing.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting senior stylists with client consultations, hair washing, and basic styling techniques
  2. Practicing and honing your haircutting, colouring, and perming skills under the supervision of experienced hairdressers
  3. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  4. Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction
  5. Participating in ongoing training and education to continuously develop your skills

What we're looking for

  1. A genuine passion for the hair and beauty industry
  2. Strong customer service skills and a keen eye for detail
  3. A willingness to learn and a positive, adaptable attitude
  4. Good hand-eye coordination and a creative flair
  5. Commitment to completing a 4-year apprenticeship program
  6. Must have completed Year 10 and be 16 years or older
  7. Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
