Blue Cap Mining are a highly diversified Mining Services Business. From owning and mining our own gold tenements to partnering with others who seek to get the best from their resources. We endeavor to challenge traditional paradigms and deliver great results.

With significant projects underway we are actively looking to recruit experienced Health, Safety and Training Coordinators to support Operations at various project sites located in the Northern Goldfields, Western Australia.

Responsibilities:

As our Senior Safety and Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing health, safety, environment, and training requirements to deliver high standards and levels of employee safety and wellbeing. You will provide leadership and support the project to achieve scheduled targets and deliverables in a safe, productive, and profitable manner.

About You:

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Working at Remote Mine sites with FIFO experience

  • Supporting operations and maintenance teams with safety and training strategies

  • Managing workplace training and assessment activities

  • Administration of WHS and training databases

  • Managing employee injury management processes and return to work plans

  • Facilitating incident investigations targeted at organisational learning

  • Coordinating the delivery of inductions, training, assessments, and Zero Harm meetings

  • Conducting various inspections, observations, and audits to drive continuous improvement

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements with specific focus on the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Regulations 2022.

Skills and experience

  • Cert IV Training and Assessment

  • Cert IV Work Health and Safety

  • Sound Knowledge and experience in applying relevant legislation and regulation related to Health and Safety.

  • Ability to work Autonomously and as part of a team and possess excellent stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to Analyse data, produce reports and provide recommendations for Improvement.
