We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Storeperson / Countersales representative to join our team.

Position Overview:

As a Storeperson / Countersales, you will play a crucial role in our operations, managing inventory, assisting customers, and ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for security products and a knack for customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Management: Receive, inspect, and organize stock; ensure accurate inventory levels; manage stock replenishment.
  • Customer Service: Assist customers at the counter with product inquiries, sales, and order processing; provide knowledgeable advice on security solutions.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and dispatch orders efficiently; handle returns and exchanges.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product range; assist with product selection and provide recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of stock and sales transactions; assist with stocktakes and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a storeperson or countersales role, ideally within the wholesale or security industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory effectively.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of security products and systems is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
