**About the role
Fixed term temporary part time opportunity to assist the Anaesthetist in the safe conduct of all Anaesthetic Procedures. Provide competent skilled assistance to the Department of Anaesthesia.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Prepare and maintain equipment in accordance with departmental policy and manufacturers guidelines for maintenance, consumable supplies and auditing processes.
Demonstrate initiative and participate as an effective member of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring all patient needs are met.
Maintain and perform contemporary practices by participating in continuing professional development. Aspects of professional development include acquiring and maintaining knowledge and skills through active participation in conferences, seminars, workplaces competencies and self-directed learning. It is a requirement for all Queensland health employees to complete mandatory trainings.
