About the role

Endeavour Talent is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Practitioner to join our clients private practice in Brisbane, QLD. This is an amazing opportunity for a Vocationally Registered (VR) GP to provide comprehensive quality medicine to a mostly veteran demographic.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting comprehensive medical assessments, consultations, and treatment planning for Veteran patients
  • Providing a systematic approach to accurately diagnose, prescribe appropriate medications, and coordinate referrals to a team of healthcare providers
  • Maintaining detailed and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards
  • Actively participating in the continuous improvement of clinical processes and patient care
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest medical advancements

What we're looking for

  • Vocationally Registered (VR) General Practitioner with post-fellowship experience
  • AHPRA Registration – General or Specialist
  • Fellowship with relevant Colleges or Associations (RACGP)
  • Subspecialties in Chronic Disease and Mental Health is highly regarded
  • Demonstrated expertise in providing high-quality, comprehensive primary healthcare services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a patient-centric approach to care
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technologies
