About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Reliefs Coordinator (Position of Responsibility 1), Catholic Enterprise Agreement) and permanent teacher to join us at Gleeson College
Working as part of our relief and timetabling team, this position is a vital role in ensuring all our classes are supervised appropriately. As a position of responsibility, you'll also receive a POR 1 allowance in addition to your teaching step, and extra release time for your duties.
In addition, you'll be part of our teaching team. You'll be at the forefront of education, creating an inspiring and inclusive environment where students thrive academically and personally. You'll embark on a journey of creativity, collaboration, and educational innovation, making a lasting impact on the lives of your students.
Your Responsibilities:

As Reliefs Coordinator, you will:
· Be responsible for ensuring that the daily operations of reliefs in the College are organised effectively, efficiently and in keeping with the current Enterprise Agreement.
· Collaborate with the Assistant Principal Teaching & Learning and Human Resource Manager to report on the TRT pool and identify opportunities to engage new TRTs.
As a Teacher at Gleeson College, you will:
· Plan and conduct appropriate activities to provide a balanced program of teaching, engaging students to develop knowledge, skills and attributes to become capable learners, and providing opportunities to observe, question and investigate.
· Establish structures and processes to enable a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
· Have an excellent understanding and use of Restorative Practices, Trauma-aware practices and effective strategies to assist students to self-regulate and develop skills of personal responsibility and positive well-being.
· Actively contribute to the Catholic ethos of the College, and support and represent the College community as outlined in the Gleeson 10 and Gleeson Staff 5.

· Are able to develop positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
· Have an understanding and commitment to the ethos of Catholic schools.
· Have acquired and will maintain your Teacher's Registration.
· Are available to undergo our screening process, which includes a Working with Children Check, E-Screen, Applicant Declaration Form and completed RRHAN-EC training.
· Have qualifications and experience in one or more subject areas, and we will highly regard experience in relief coordinating.
