Network Project Manager

Network Project Manager job description involves leading the planning, execution, and completion of network infrastructure projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet scope and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning:
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Team Coordination:
Assemble and lead project teams, fostering collaboration and communication among technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Resource Management:
Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget.
- Risk & Issue Management:
Identify potential project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular, transparent updates on project status, milestones, risks, and challenges.
- Project Execution:
Oversee project activities from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to defined scope, schedule, and quality standards.
- Quality Assurance:
Implement quality assurance processes and ensure project deliverables meet established technical and business standards.
- Budget Management:
Monitor project spending and manage finances to ensure adherence to financial constraints.
- Performance Monitoring:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project progress, making adjustments as needed to meet goals.
- Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes to enhance efficiency and project outcomes.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven Project Management Experience:
Demonstrated success in leading complex technical or IT projects from start to finish.
- Strong Technical Knowledge:
Expertise in network architecture, infrastructure, and deployment, including experience with firewalls, switches, wireless, and cloud networking.
- Leadership & Communication:
Ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinking:
Capacity to develop strategic project roadmaps that align with business objectives.
- Problem-Solving:
A proactive and analytical approach to identifying and resolving project challenges.
- Risk Management:
Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and developing effective mitigation plans.
