Phillip Island Winery is a busy winery / cellar door / event space on the tourist hot-spot of Phillip Island, 2 hours south of Melbourne. We are looking to fill the role of SOUS Chef to assist as we approach the upcoming season.

PLEASE NOTE: Immediate sponsorship IS NOT available for this role. It may be possible in the future but please do not apply if you are seeking sponsorship within the next 6 months.

This role will be 5 days per week, Wednesday - Sunday and predominantly days (9-5pm), with occasional night over the event season.

The successful applicant/s will:

  • Love cooking and be passionate about quality food.
  • Be level headed with a good sense of humour.
  • Ideally have experience in a similar role.
  • Have experience in a high volume environment.
  • Be self-motivated and organised.
  • Have an eye for detail.
  • Love mentoring junior staff.

Attractive above-market base salary package depending on experience & suitability, plus generous incentives over time.

Rosters are mainly days and will include weekends - please do not apply if this is an issue.

Phillip Island is a beautiful location, situated close to stunning natural attractions such as Wilsons Prom, a stones throw from world class surfing and fishing and still within 90 minutes of all that Melbourne has to offer. It's a great place to raise children or just to escape the rat-race.
