$86 - $93 Per hour (Dependent on qualifications and Teaching experience)

Responsibilities
As a Sessional Welding Teacher, you will deliver hands-on, accredited welding training to adult learners in a correctional setting. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering practical and theoretical welding instruction in line with industry standards and safety protocols.
• Supporting learners to develop technical skills in MIG, TIG, and arc welding, as well as fabrication and workshop safety.
• Assessing student progress and maintaining accurate training records.
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that supports diverse learner needs and backgrounds.
• Deliver practical training both in the workshop and via augmented reality welders

What We're Looking For

• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110 / TAE40116 / TAE40122) OR willing to enrol.
• Relevant Welding qualifications and industry experience.
• Experience delivering training in adult education or vocational settings (Preferred but not required).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a correctional environment.
• Commitment to safety, inclusion, and learner success.
