About the role

Brigs Plumbing is seeking a qualified Maintenance Plumber to join our team based in East Brisbane and the Redlands. Our work primarily focuses on maintenance and renovations, so you'll be involved in a wide variety of jobs that keep each day interesting. We're after someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and fair pricing. You'll also play a key role in guiding and training our apprentice, while taking the lead on site.

What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnosing and repairing a variety of plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures
  2. Performing routine maintenance and inspections on plumbing systems
  3. Providing prompt and courteous customer service to our clients
  4. Maintaining accurate records of all work completed
  5. Adhering to all relevant safety standards and regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Qualified plumber with a valid plumbing license
  2. Manual driver's licence
  3. White card
  4. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar maintenance plumbing role
  5. Strong problem-solving skills
  6. Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  7. Commitment to safe work practices
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
