The Role: We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Full-Time Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen standards, and contributing to the continued success of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals to a consistently high standard across bistro, functions, and specials
  • Ensure all food preparation and storage meets food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain an efficient and clean work environment
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and receiving deliveries
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even during busy periods
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff

About You:

  • Trade-qualified Chef with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work across various kitchen sections
  • Knowledge of modern Australian pub and bistro-style cuisine
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP procedures
  • Willingness to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and passion for quality food
