About the Role
Front Office Support is a Middle Office function in ANZ in the Markets business with teams in multiple global locations.
FOS is responsible for supporting the business and client requirements around post trade execution management of products including but not limited to Foreign Exchange, Commodities, Rates and Credit.
The role as a Manager in Survey Reports, is to support the buildout of a new focused sub-function within Front Office Support.
This team will specialize in the design, management and roll out including the automation of reports produced for external parties as part of the Markets business including domestic Government Agencies and Cross Border Institutions.
Your role will be part of a team of 2 located in Sydney that specializes in
1) Designing processes for new requests and
2) Enhancing existing production processes and controls to follow best practices.
3) Producing survey reports and supporting the function to streamline/automate the production of existing surveys

What will your day look like?
As a Manager Survey Reports, you will be responsible for:
Implement new/enhance existing process and controls for the production of survey reports.
Producing reports and ensuring proper investigation and escalation of any exceptions encountered.
Provide SME best practice advisory to other functions on how to design and control report production.
Engagement with relevant Front office Sales and Trading stakeholders to be up to date on market changes that are relevant for in-scope surveys
Good understanding of Markets products, booking platforms and models.
Facilitation of continuous improvement initiatives.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong experience in data report compilation and design.
Good understanding of Markets products – especially related to Bonds, FX, and Rates products.
Good communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate to all stakeholders
Good interpersonal skills.
Hands-on knowledge and experience with banking systems would be advantageous, for example Murex.
A problem solver and self driven.
Energized by tackling complex problems, use my critical thinking, network, skills, knowledge and available data to drive better outcomes for our customers and the bank.
Data driven decision making and ability to build data driven processes .
Ability to build tools using Excel (essential) /VBA/Python (advantageous).
