Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Security Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you will learn to install, maintain, and service electronic security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of security systems
  • Support senior technicians on-site with cabling, mounting, and configuration
  • Learn to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and site safety standards
  • Attend RTO (Registered Training Organisations) and complete required coursework
  • Follow company procedures and OH&S policies

Ideal Candidate

  • Genuine interest in electronic security, network cabling and technology
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Physical ability to complete manual handling activities on a customer site or construction site
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic understanding of hand tools and electrical safety
  • Current driver's licence & access to a vehicle for transport to work sites
  • NSW White Card (Construction Induction)
