About the role

Northam Carpet Court is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team in Northam, WA 6401. As a full-time Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales of our premium flooring products and solutions.

What you'll be doing

  • Engaging with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and recommending the best flooring options to meet their requirements
  • Demonstrating product features and benefits to customers to facilitate informed purchasing decisions
  • Preparing detailed quotes and proposals for customers, ensuring accurate pricing and product specifications
  • Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and staying informed of industry trends and developments
  • Collaborating with the broader sales team to share best practices and contribute to the achievement of sales targets
  • Providing exceptional post-sales support and ensuring customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

  • Strong sales experience, preferably in the retail or home improvement industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively engage with customers
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to understand and interpret technical product information
  • A passion for providing outstanding customer service and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations
  • Familiarity with the flooring industry or a willingness to learn and stay up to date with industry trends and developments
