Quality Inspection Manager – Southport Smash (Australia)

Responsibilities

As a Quality Inspection Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the inspection process and ensuring all repairs meet safety and quality standards. Your role will involve:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of repaired vehicles to ensure compliance with industry and company standards.
  • Identify defects, inconsistencies, or areas requiring further attention and work with the team to rectify them.
  • Developing and implementing quality control procedures to enhance efficiency and workmanship.
  • Training and mentoring staff on quality standards and best practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with Australian safety regulations and customer service expectations.
  • Collaborating with technicians, panel beaters, and management to maintain a culture of excellence.

Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Strong experience in automotive repair and panel beating, with a focus on quality control.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify defects in paintwork, structural repairs, and finishing.
  • Strong communication skills to provide feedback and guide the team effectively.
