**The Opportunity**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Assistant to join the team at Southport

**Role responsibilities**:

- Order picking and packing
- Operation of MHE (Order Picker and Forklift)
- Assisting with loading and unloading trucks or other transportation vehicles
- Labelling and storing parts accurately
- Completing and verifying paperwork to ensure accurate tracking of parts in the warehouse and to our customers
- Packing & wrapping parts for distribution
- General warehouse duties as required

**Does this sound like you?**
- Previous Warehousing experience in a fast pace environment - _essential_
- LF Licences (Forklift) -_ desirable_
- LO Licence (Order Picker) - _desirable_
- Mechanical experience is a _desirable_
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Eye for detail - with quality control inspection of all parts carried out before leaving warehouse
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Understanding safe work practices - OH&S
- Automotive knowledge would be advantageous for this role
