The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resource Adviser to join our team. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will provide expert HR advice, support managers, and contribute to shaping a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities (ANSCO-aligned):

  • Provide guidance and advice to managers on HR policies, recruitment, selection, induction, training, and staff development.
  • Assist in implementing performance management systems to plan, appraise, and enhance individual and team performance.
  • Support workplace relations, remuneration, and employment conditions, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Contribute to occupational health & safety (OHS) and equal employment opportunity (EEO) initiatives.
  • Advise on redundancy, retrenchment, and employee exit processes as required.
  • Monitor HR metrics, workforce productivity, and employment costs, providing insights to the CEO.
  • Act as a coaching and advisory resource for managers and staff on HR matters, workplace culture, and staff engagement.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven HR experience, preferably in aged care or healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, workplace relations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and advisory skills.
  • Ability to provide strategic HR support while managing day-to-day HR operations.
