The role

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher's Assistant to join the team in our Junior School. This is a fabulous role that offers the ultimate balance as you will be required to work Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day (8am to 1pm) during term time.

Commencing in January 2026, you will be responsible for supporting homeroom teachers and boys in our primary year levels to ensure all students have the best possible start to their primary years of education.

In order to thrive at Brighton Grammar School, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience working with primary aged students.
  • An understanding of principles and practice of student learning strategies.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within in a team.
  • Proven experience in establishing and fostering relationships with students in the primary years.
  • A willingness to be actively involved in the cultural, pastoral and co-curricular activities of the School.
  • A current working with children check.
