- Coordinating the implementation of production schedule through team leaders and liaising with Mint stakeholders to ensure that production demands are met.
- Advising management on the effectiveness of schedules and production, making recommendations where appropriate.
- Developing, attaining and sustaining key performance indicators and performance measures in production.
- Dealing with challenging manufacturing issues, problem solving, and recommending solutions to management on how to address those issues.
- Using various Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to manage resources including the tracking of production schedule, equipment parts, manufacturing materials and orders.
- Leading a team across multiple shifts and work areas.
- Supporting junior team leaders with their management of staff and ensuring that standards, policies and procedures are followed. Giving feedback as necessary.
- Managing and supporting growth and development of staff through their Individual Work Plans.
- Facilitating and managing purchasing requirements for production.
- Preparing and reviewing procedures, work instructions and reports.
- Facilitating, drafting and reviewing risk assessments and related activities.
