About the Role

In October 2025, our current Park Managers finish their Seasonal Contract. Summerstar Tourist Parks is seeking an enthusiastic, hands-on management couple to take over when they depart. Join us as Park Managers at the Broome Caravan Park, nestled amongst large stands of established trees on Wattle Drive at the entrance of the town centre, Broome Caravan Park enjoys a peaceful and relaxing retreat whilst being only a few kilometres from Cable Beach & Chinatown.

We are offering an ongoing full-time contract and looking for a couple who want to make Broome their home for the next few years.

Summerstar is a proudly family-owned and operated group of caravan and tourist parks with 16 locations across WA and SA, including Ceduna, Esperance, Walpole, Margaret River, Busselton, Jurien Bay, Geraldton, Horrocks, Kalbarri, Nanga Shark Bay, Carnarvon, Tom Price, Eighty Mile Beach, Broome, and Kununurra.

What You'll Be Doing

As Park Managers, you'll work together across all areas of park operations, guest services, administration, and maintenance. Typically, one of you will manage reception and office duties, while the other focuses on grounds, maintenance, and operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

Park Operations & Guest Experience

  • Managing the day-to-day running of the park, including after-hours response
  • Ensuring a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable guest experience
  • Responding to enquiries and issues with professionalism and care
  • Delivering smooth, efficient park operations

Grounds & Maintenance

  • Mowing, gardening, painting, and general site presentation
  • Facility maintenance and repairs
  • Waste management and environmental upkeep
  • Supporting the park's safety and security systems

Reception, Admin & Housekeeping

  • Overseeing reservations, check-ins/outs, and guest services
  • Answering phone, email, and in-person enquiries
  • Processing payments and maintaining accurate booking records (RMS preferred)
  • Managing housekeeping: room and amenity cleaning, laundry, and presentation
What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Qualities

  • Friendly, guest-focused approach with great communication skills
  • Handy-person skills and/or trades experience (grounds role)
  • Office and admin experience with basic business knowledge
  • Physically fit, adaptable, and ready to jump into a variety of tasks
  • Strong computer literacy and willingness to learn RMS or similar
  • Prior experience in caravan parks or roadhouses is highly regarded
