Commercial & Infrastructure (C&I) are seeking a Bid Manager to manage the design & coordination of bids & tenders for some of Australia's most exciting infrastructure projects.

About the company

C&I are an infrastructure advisory firm specialising in cost management across the industry. Our services span over a broad range of infrastructure projects across the full project lifecycle, for clients within the private and public sector.

Our company continuously services and is involved in large-scale projects and mega-projects ($1b+) and work across the most exciting and innovative projects across Australia.

C&I operate across Australia, providing the following core services:

  • Cost advisory / quantity surveying
  • Risk management
  • Project planning and advisory
  • Project delivery support
  • Commercial and contract services
  • Project Completions Advisory (Major Projects QA)

We are a diverse and growing business, with offices in Sydney and Adelaide and further plans to expand.

The role

The primary responsibility of the Bid Manager is to develop and manage comprehensive bids, which are detailed, costed, and persuasive proposals, with the aim of securing business contracts or work opportunities.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will collaborate with various business units to procure, coordinate, and develop bid and proposal documents, working closely with the Directors and key team members. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the entire process, from initiation to completion, while ensuring the production of high-quality documents.

Key responsibilities also include:

  • Conduct comprehensive research on project requirements, competitor analysis, and market trends to enhance bid competitiveness and increase the company's win rate.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive bid tracking system to monitor and manage all bid submissions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all bid-related activities.
  • Facilitate effective communication among internal teams and external partners, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes the successful delivery of high-quality, competitive bids.
  • Assist in the preparation of compelling proposal content and presentations, emphasising the company's unique value proposition and capabilities to potential clients.

About you

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments and levels of the organisation.
  • Proven experience in bid coordination or a similar role within the construction or consulting professional services sectors.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to accuracy and detail, and a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in design software (i.e. InDesign), Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite, AI Tools
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High level attention to detail.
  • An ability to thrive and deliver.
  • Desire to further your education and progress within the business.
