What You'll Be Doing
In this dynamic and fulfilling role, you will:
- Deliver high standards of clinical nursing care to residents
- Engage consumers and staff in person-centred care planning and service delivery
- Mentor Enrolled Nurses and Care Workers while leading by example
- Promote compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and internal policies
- Assist with audits, assessments, and care plan reviews
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting
- Collaborate with the Residential Care Manager to support daily operations
- Participate in a rotating on-call roster (after probation)
What You Bring
Essential Criteria:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA)
- Strong clinical knowledge, especially in aged-related health issues
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage teams and support a culture of quality care
- Strong documentation and IT literacy
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Current National Police Check
- Valid Driver's Licence
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in aged care or residential services
- Postgraduate qualifications in aged care or related fields
- Italian language skills (valued but not essential)
