Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Support Team Leader to oversee and manage our support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of support and service possible. The Support Team Leader will be responsible for managing a team of support agents, ensuring that they are meeting their targets and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all staff understand participants' human rights, and support them in ensuring their rights are upheld
  • Ensure the service supports participants to engage with social networks and the broader community
  • Implement and coordinate information sharing strategy that enables staff to share participant support strategies.
  • Coordinate participant referrals, needs assessments and outside stake holders.
  • To develop resources to support and educate participants, support staff and community providers
  • To liaise with registered training organisations, TAFE and universities and facilitate training opportunities for participant
  • Work with manager to regularly review the budget and ensure program budget is not over expended
  • Ensure participant funds are utilised appropriately and distributed equitably
  • Effectively manage financial responsibility with direct reports and expenditure of petty cash
  • Responsible for implementation of systems and processes that place the participant at the centre of service delivery exercising maximum choice and control
  • Responsible for the undertaking of risk assessments, risk management and WHS processes implemented by FLINTWOOD
  • Responsible for ensuring direct reports understand responsibilities and delegations.
  • Development and implementation of person-centred tools that support meaningful participation.
  • Recording and communicating of all incidents in a timely manner.

Requirement:

  • Monday-Friday 8am-3.36pm
  • Cert III in Disability or Aged Care
  • At least 1 years in a leadership role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
