About the role

JAX Tyres & Auto Essendon is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Salesperson to join our friendly team — with flexible options available for casual, part-time, or full-time work.

In this role, you'll be the face of JAX, helping customers find the right tyres and automotive solutions to keep them safe and confident on the road. You'll provide exceptional service, promote our full range of premium products and services, and work towards achieving sales goals that contribute to the ongoing success of our store.

What you'll be doing

  • Engaging with customers to understand their needs and recommend the most suitable products and services
  • Demonstrating and explaining the features and benefits of our tyres, automotive parts, and related services
  • Actively pursuing sales opportunities and closing deals to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets
  • Providing a high level of customer service to build lasting relationships and generate repeat business
  • Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities
  • Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with product knowledge and sales strategies

What we're looking for

  • Must have a minimum 1 year of experience in the Tyre or Mechanical Industry
  • Current valid Driver's Licence
  • Strong face-to-face customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and prioritisation skills
  • A strong focus on safety and compliance with WHS regulations
  • Available to work on Saturdays
