Mount Scopus Memorial College is a co-educational Jewish School from Early Learning to Year 12 across three campuses; St Kilda East, Caulfield South and Burwood.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join the College, and be part of our Facilities Team. Reporting to the Property and Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor position is to coordinate the maintenance program and provide hands-on supervision of the maintenance team in the provision of well-maintained, safe, healthy and attractive buildings, plant, equipment and facilities at all campuses in a manner consistent with a high quality learning environment.

This is a full-time permanent position working across all three campuses as required, initially based at our Burwood campus.

Previous experience in a similar role in a school environment is preferred. Strong experience in supervising and leading the maintenance team activities across all campuses and assisting in the performance of maintenance tasks is required. Candidates must have strong communication and negotiation skills along with maintenance management, and document and spreadsheet applications (Microsoft and/or Google Suite) are required.

All applicants must have the right to work in Australia and must pass a Working with Children Check (Employee). A current National Police check (or the ability to obtain) will be required.

Being Jewish is not a prerequisite for employment, although a worldview that is sympathetic to the Jewish ethos is essential.
