HAYLO People are a specialist recruitment agency within the personal injury, safety & insurance industry and we are seeking an experienced Safety Advisor seeking to lead safety across NSW state for a highly recognised and reputable not for profit organisation.

The organisation:

Australia's largest meat and food processing company, operating across beef, lamb, pork, and value-added products. The business runs processing plants, feedlots, and small goods facilities across multiple states, employing over 10,000 people nationwide and supplying both domestic and global markets.

What you'll do:

In this role, you will ensure WHS compliance across farming construction sites while supporting incident investigations, corrective actions, and reporting. You'll be responsible for maintaining WHS data, risk registers, and safety documentation, as well as conducting inspections, mentoring leaders, and driving safety improvements. Collaboration with Safety Representatives and managers will also be a key focus as you work together to deliver the organisation's WHS strategy.

What you bring:

  • Cert IV in WHS (or relevant experience) – Diploma is highly regarded
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, systems & investigations (ICAM preferred)
  • Great communication, problem-solving & time management skills
  • Ability to influence and support leaders at all levels
  • Current Driver's Licence & willingness to travel
