About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Roadside Assistance Patrol Person to join our team in Albury, NSW. This full-time role will involve providing efficient and reliable roadside assistance to customers, ensuring their vehicles are quickly recovered and back on the road.

What you'll be doing

  • Responding promptly to roadside assistance calls and quickly assessing and addressing vehicle issues
  • Performing minor repairs and maintenance, such as tyre changes, jump-starting, and refuelling vehicles
  • Transporting immobilised vehicles to the nearest repair facility or the customer's preferred location
  • Providing excellent customer service and support, ensuring a positive experience for all customers
  • Maintaining detailed records of all service calls and actions taken
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of both customers and yourself

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar roadside assistance or automotive service role
  • Strong mechanical skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve a variety of vehicle issues
  • Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • A valid driver's licence and the ability to operate a range of towing and service vehicles
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern, including weekends and public holidays
