  • Temporary Full Time – Up to May 2027
  • Location: Eveleigh with flexible working arrangements available across NSW Department of Education Offices.

  • Competitive remuneration ranging from $113,574 to $125,720 plus super & annual leave loading.

The Asset Management Sourcing Officer is responsible for executing and delivering procurement services for Asset Management Projects, encompassing procurement planning, development, and sourcing to align with the business requirements.

You will enforce procurement policies, procedures, systems, and frameworks to uphold professional standards and achieve efficient results. Additionally, you will build organisational capability in procurement given the complex legislative environment and diversity that needs to be considered to address organizational needs, promote innovative procurement methods, and enhance organizational procurement expertise.

About you 

Highly organised & motivated.Adaptable and proactive in responding to changes in direction and priorities. Excellent interpersonal skills.High level communication and collaboration skills to work cohesively with stakeholders to deliver results. Ability to work with a team autonomously. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of NSW Government procurement policies, systems, procedures and legislation including probity.Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement or in a related discipline and/or equivalent relevant work experience.Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

There is no requirement to renew the WWCC once it expires after five years. Employer obligations under the WWCC will apply only for the duration of its validity, up to five years.
