Educational Leader – Busy Bees on Furlong Road

Location: Queanbeyan, NSW

Licensed Capacity: 75 places

Hourly Rate: $38.09 – $ Educational Leader Allowance

About the Role

Busy Bees on Furlong Road is seeking a passionate Educational Leader to inspire and guide our team in delivering high-quality early learning programs. This is a leadership role where you will:

  • Lead curriculum planning and implementation aligned with the EYLF and NQS.
  • Mentor and support educators in delivering engaging, child-led learning experiences.
  • Drive continuous improvement in teaching practices and educational outcomes.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and the leadership team to foster a strong learning culture.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Quality Standards and Busy Bees pedagogy.

What You'll Need

  • Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent).
  • Proven experience as an Educational Leader or senior educator.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
  • A valid Working with Children Check (NSW).
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications.
