About the Role

As a Trainee, you'll work closely with Product Management and Trade Sales teams, supporting new product development (NPD) projects, pricing analysis, product data maintenance, and sales support activities. You'll gain exposure to how technical products are developed, marketed, and supported while building a strong understanding of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with product range reviews, competitor research, and data analysis.
  • Support coordination of new product development and product launches.
  • Maintain and update product information, pricing, and marketing collateral.
  • Help develop training materials, sales presentations, and promotional activities.
  • Liaise with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Sales to ensure accurate product information.
  • Provide administrative support for reports, product samples, and documentation.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Analytical mindset and curiosity about product performance.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to product and commercial projects.
  • Sound computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Tertiary, trade, or vocational qualifications (or currently studying) in business, marketing, or related fields desirable but not essential.
  • Some exposure to product, sales, or administrative environments is beneficial but not required.
