The Opportunity

JSG Industrial Systems is seeking a Store Person to assist in the management of inventory within our Milperra Facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manual handling of product of up to 20kg, as well as getting and giving assistance in manual handling of goods over 20kg
  • Operation of a forklift for management of receiving, checking, storing, picking and dispatch of product.
  • Picking and Packing of Sales and Transfer orders via RF Scan Gun
  • Operation of the following machinery as and when required:
  • Man up elevated work platform
  • Manual pallet trolley
  • Pallet wrapping machine.
  • Paper padding machine.
  • Pallet scales
  • General power tools
  • Hose measuring, coiling, and cutting equipment.
  • Ensure stock counts are conducted in line with Inventory Administrator
  • Ensure the receipt, inspection and storage of inbound inventory
  • Safe loading and unloading of supplier vehicles and containers
  • Ensure the accurate and timely picking, packing and dispatching of orders and transfers to customers and other branches.
  • Liaise closely with Customer Service, and Warranty regarding the status of orders, and investigating claims.
  • Ensure workplace health and safety by following safe procedures, promptly addressing WHS issues, completing required training, reporting environmental hazards, and adhering to ISO9001 company policies.

About You

  • High Risk Work License – LF Forklift
  • Minimum 12 months forklift operation experience
  • Minimum 12 months Warehouse experience
  • Minimum 12 months RF Scanning experience
  • Minimum 12 months experience leading a team
  • Demonstrate values, work as a team player, and contribute strategies to achieve company goals.
